GoCognitive. Educational tools for Cognitive Neuroscience

Welcome to GoCognitive.net

The goal of the GoCognitive web project is the creation of an online center for teaching in cognitive psychology and cognitive neuroscience. We are providing online demonstrations of cognitive and neurological phenomena as well as video content related to research in neuroscience. Many of the demonstrations are downloadable and the content modifiable so that they can be used in small-scale research projects by students.

Current funding through the Idaho State Board of Education will allow the creation of an initial set of flash-based interactive demonstrations and research tools, as well as video content and other sources linked through a unified framework for the search and navigation of these materials. Because of the reliance on web-delivery and programming languages like Adobe Flash, the resources are not dependent on a particular computer platform to run - assuring maximum accessibility.

If you are interested in using this site, please consider registering with us. This enables us to better keep track of the usage of the site and will assist us in making requests for additional funding to maintain and improve the site. If you would like, you can be added to our email/newsletter list as well. However, you don't have to register to explore the different demonstrations and video resources.

To navigate the site, you can use the general links in the top navigation bar or use the search function. In the FAQ section we list answers to some of the questions you might have about goCognitive. The sidebar on the right always displays the last major updates in the demo and video categories - whatever we have most recently worked on will appear there. This provides you with a convenient way to check if there are any new additions to the site.

If you would like more information, or if you have any ideas or requests what content should be added to this site, please contact us directly at
